One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled accents to collar and body, brush-decorated with two vertical tulips and groups of swags on the front. Brushed flower blossoms to collar. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. An 8" Y-shaped crack descending from rim, which involves a 4" x 5" reglued wedge, including some minor chipping along break. Two base chips, one of which is glazed over. Three other minor base chips, one of which is glazed over. H 10 7/8".
