Spongeware Umbrella Stand, American, early 20th century, tall, cylindrical form decorated throughout with sponged cobalt banding over a Bristol-slip ground. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. An approximately 5 1/2" spider line on underside forming a 4 1/4" vertical crack at base. A small in-the-firing iron ping to shoulder and tiny in-the-firing iron ping at base. A 1 1/2" hairline from rim. H 20".
