Fine Multi-Glazed Redware Cream Pitcher, attributed to S. Bell & Sons or J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, ovoid pitcher with flared collar, the lead-glazed surface decorated with splashes of copper and manganese over cream-colored slip. Excellent color and luster. Very nice condition with two minor glaze flakes to top of rim, possibly in-the-firing, wear to front of spout, and a small in-the-firing contact mark to handle. H 6 5/8".
