Rare and Fine Multi-Glazed Redware Vase, attributed to J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, ovoid vase with footed base, narrow neck, and flaring rim, the surface coated in cream-colored slip, decorated with splashed copper and manganese, and covered in a clear lead glaze. Exceptional form, smaller and more-delicately-potted than most Strasburg vases that we have seen. Very nice condition with a few areas of glaze wear to rim, minor glaze wear to foot, and some very minor surface wear. H 9 1/8".
