Stoneware Jar with Unusual Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1855, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, brush-decorated with a hanging floral motif featuring a fan-shaped blossom with smaller flower and three buds inside. Additional swag decoration to shoulder. Excellent condition with minor base chips, a small iron ping to shoulder, tiny rim nicks, most of which are glazed over. H 8 5/8".
