Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "E.B. TAYLOR / Richmond. Va.," attributed to A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, WV, circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring a band of geometric stenciling above E.B. Taylor merchant stenciling, both applied diagonally. Exceptional color. Excellent condition with minor staining and two in-the-firing discolored spots. H 11 5/8".
