One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, attributed to Somerset Potters Works, Somerset, MA, circa 1847-1882, cylindrical jug with short, flaring spout, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed looping line embellished with spots and flanked by two leaves. A 3/4" base chip. A small flake to underside at edge and a minor in-the-firing ping at base on reverse. H 11".
