Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration and Poughkeepsie, NY Advertising, Poughkeepsie, NY origin, third quarter 19th century, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout, impressed with the advertising, "HEATH & HOLDRIDGE / 336 MAIN ST / POUGHKEEPSIE." Brush-decorated below with a large floral motif. Cobalt highlights to advertising and capacity mark. Excellent condition with light staining. H 13 5/8".
