Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "JULIUS NORTON / BENNINGTON, VT," circa 1841-1844, cylindrical jug with squared spout, brush-decorated with a three flower blossoms emanating from a stem. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Excellent condition with a minor rim chip and minor rim nick. H 14".
