Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "NORTON & FENTON / BENNINGTON Vt," circa 1845, highly-ovoid jug with semi-squared spout, brush-decorated with a stem bearing three flowers. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Includes old wooden stopper. Staining to surface. Otherwise excellent condition. H 13".
