One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "MOYER. HARRISBURG," PA origin, circa 1858-1861, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, brush-decorated with an abstract cobalt design below the maker's mark. Cobalt highlight to maker's mark and handle terminals. Excellent condition with some staining and an in-the-firing horizontal line extending partway through lower handle terminal. H 11 1/2".
