One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Slip-Trailed Cobalt Decoration, Baltimore, MD, circa 1825, ovoid jar with tall collar and applied tab handles, decorated on the front and reverse with a delicately slip-trailed vine below a series of conjoined chain links. Brushed cobalt highlights to handles and a curved line of cobalt below each handle. Rim chips. A small chip and hairline to one handle. H 9 3/4".
