Fine Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "N.A. WHITE & SON, / UTICA, N.Y.," circa 1885, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed design of a flowering plant bearing large leaves and dotted trails. Excellent color. Very nice condition with some small spots of wear to cobalt and two minor nicks to one handle.
