Rare Rockingham-Glazed NAOMI & DAUGHTERS Mug, Stamped "E. & W. BENNETT / CANTON-AVENUE / BALTIMORE, MD", circa 1860, decagonal mug decorated on each side with a relief design of the Biblical figure, Naomi, with her daughters, impressed below each scene, "NAOMI & DAUGHTERS". Ornamental handle with crested top. Surface covered in a streaky amber-colored Rockingham glaze. Underside impressed with E. & W. Bennett maker's mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with typical kiln furniture marks on underside. H 6".
