Rare and Fine Yellowware Spaniel with Heavy Cobalt Decoration, Ohio origin, mid to late 19th century, molded seated spaniel on an octagonal base with raised floral decoration, the spaniel's face with hand-incised details to the eyes and muzzle. Surface covered in a dramatic, dark cobalt slip over a yellow ground. Excellent condition with an in-the-firing 1 3/4" line to base. H 9 5/8".
