Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1840-1860, a one-and-a-half-gallon cylindrical jar with large fan-shaped floral motif, paired with a spittoon with brushed leaf motifs. Jar with long inverted fork-shaped crack from rim, a few base chips, small rim chips, and rim secured with a wire. Spittoon with two flakes to bottom edge, measuring 2" and 1 1/4", a 7/8" base chip, and a 3/4" in-the-firing chip to shoulder.
