Three Pieces of Northeastern U.S. Stoneware, circa 1840-1875, a five-gallon jug with slip-trailed floral motif, stamped "NEW YORK STONEWARE CO."; a two-gallon jug with a triple-stemmed floral motif, New Jersey origin; and a half-gallon ovoid jar with brushed floral motif on the front and a series of dashes at the shoulder on the reverse. New York Stoneware Company jug in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Two-gallon jug in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Jar with large reglued piece on front with an additional crack extending from it, as well as a large Y-shaped crack from rim on reverse, and a minor in-the-firing chip to edge on underside.
