Glazed Redware Canning Jar with Lid, Stamped "JOHN BELL", Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1840-1880, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and flared rim, the surface covered in a clear lead glaze over a yellow ground. Shoulder impressed with John Bell maker's mark. Includes original lead-glazed lid. Light wear to rim of jar. Minor wear to edge of lid. H (excluding lid) 7".
