One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Connecticut origin, circa 1820, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled collar, decorated with a stylized floral motif on the front and a stylized drape motif around the collar. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Rim chips. An in-the-firing contact mark to front of pitcher, shoulder, and handle. Faint lines on underside, extending onto base.
