Two Brown Brothers, Huntington, Long Island, New York Stoneware Jugs, circa 1863-1870, both of similar ovoid form with cobalt tulip decorations. One includes old wooden stopper. Provenance: Donald Matties Collection. One jug with a base chip, some light staining, and some fry to cobalt. Jug with stopper with a few spout chips, some staining, a short line at base, and an in-the-firing iron ping at base on reverse.
