Three Pieces of Salt-Glazed Stoneware, American, 19th century, a one-gallon ovoid jar with cobalt tulip decoration, Baltimore, MD origin; a three-gallon undecorated, ovoid jar, Northeastern U.S. origin; and a cobalt-decorated lid, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA. Baltimore jar with heavy chipping to rim, a base chip, a vertical hairline to base area, and minor wear to one handle. Undecorated jar with heavy chipping to base, three rim chips, and a large in-the-firing contact mark near base. Lid with significant losses to knob and flange on underside, as well as significant exfoliation.
