Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "OTTMAN BRO'S / & CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.," circa 1880, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a full-bodied bird perched on a stylized branch. Poorly-restored chip to bottom edge of one handle. A small chip and nick, both poorly restored, to opposite handle. Two poorly-restored rim chips.
