Glazed Rustic Redware Tobacco Jar, English, late 19th century, wheel-thrown, lidded jar in the form of a tree stump with applied knots and incised bark. Decorated with cream-colored slip and incised "Tobacco". Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Wear to interior of rim where lid rests. Some minor wear to surface. Light wear to finial on lid. Large firing flaw at base. H (including lid) 4 3/4".
