Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, American, circa 1875, a canning jar, stenciled "A.P. Donaghho. / Parkersburg, W.Va."; paired with a one-gallon cylindrical jar with floral decoration on front and reverse, Baltimore, MD origin. Donaghho jar with heavy chipping to interior of rim, a chip to shoulder molding, a contact mark, some in-the-firing discoloration to surface, and some light wear to surface. Baltimore jar with salt drip to shoulder and a bloated spot near base, otherwise excellent condition.
