Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Leaf Decoration, Philadelphia, PA origin, circa 1840, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and rounded rim, decorated with a series of large leaves around the midsection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some minor roughness to base.
