Four-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry H. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1830, cylindrical jar with tapered shoulder and semi-squared rim, decorated with a series of four large tulips extending around the shoulder. Excellent color. A few base chips. A tight, approximately 8" vertical line to midsection.
