Two Pieces of Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1870, a two-gallon cylindrical crock with foliate decoration, stamped "E. & L.P. NORTON / BENNINGTON, VT"; with a one-and-a-half-gallon jar with foliate decoration, stamped "FRANK B. NORTON / WORCESTER, MASS.". Bennington crock with long crack from rim on front, two other short cracks in rim only, small area of surface wear to base on side of crock, and minor wear to right handle. Worcester crock with small chips on interior of rim, two small chips to one handle, a small chip to opposite handle, two short glazed-over lines to base.
