Glazed Redware Basket with Applied Decoration, possibly French, 19th century, with footed base, twisted rope handle, and original lid, the body decorated with an applied flowering vine design and covered in a lead-and-manganese glaze. Reglued 1 1/8" section to lid. Short glued cracks on finial of lid. Chip to inner rim of lid. Basket with reglued handle, a stone ping to handle, some small losses to applied decoration, and some minor rim wear. H (to top of handle) 10 3/4".
