Tanware Pitcher, Western PA origin, fourth quarter 19th century, ovoid pitcher with tall, ornately-potted collar, the body decorated with a brushed Albany slip fuchsia vine design. Drape, foliate brushwork, and spotted base to collar. Stripe at base of pitcher. Dashes to sides of handle and highlights at the handle terminals. Small, professionally-restored chip to spout. Otherwise excellent condition. H 6 1/4".
