Two Western PA Stoneware Jugs, circa 1875, a one-gallon jug, stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO, PA" within a curving leaf pattern; paired with a half-gallon jug, decorated with four freehand stripes. One-gallon jug in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Large 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" firing flaw on reverse of smaller jug. Additional crazing throughout large area of smaller jug. Salt drip and contact mark on top of handle of smaller jug.
