Three-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Western PA origin, probably Washington County, PA, circa 1865, cylindrical jar with heavily-tooled shoulder, tooled and flattened rim, and applied lug handles, decorated on the front with a finely-brushed design of two flowering vines. Large spidering crack on right side of front with hairline extending off from it onto underside.
