Very Rare Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Water Cooler Pedestal, Winchester or Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1835-1870, with stepped and ribbed moldings, the surface decorated with a cobalt stripe around the top and spots along the surface. Somewhat similar in form to other examples produced by Solomon Bell. Losses to top and bottom edge. H 2 1/2" ; Diameter 9".
