Small-Sized Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to R.J. Grier, Chester Co., PA, circa 1875, ovoid pitcher with rounded foot and slightly-flared rim, decorated with a brushed cobalt hanging flower on the front, as well as cobalt brushwork on the rim and spout. 3 1/4" crack extending up front, forming a Y on underside. Dryness to decoration. H 7 1/4".
