Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Baltimore, MD, circa 1840, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and back with a leafy garland bearing flowers. 2 1/4" chip to rim. Inverted Y-shaped crack extending from rim through one handle and near base. Small chip with crack at end of same handle. Small glazed-over base chip.
