Scarce Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, tapered jar with rounded wax sealer rim, decorated with a large brushed cobalt tulip, along with swags and stripes above and below. Some fry to swag decoration at base. Two minor chips to interior of rim. Two additional chips to inner wax sealer rim. H 10 1/4".
