Stahl Sgraffito Redware Plate, Signed "Made in Stahl's Pottery, Sept. 29, 1938," PA origin, the interior sgraffito-decorated with two doves and overlapping heart, flanked by tulips. Reverse with pencil inscription "UNITED DOVES AND TULIPS / G. HUBENER / 1786 PMA," indicating the plate was designed after a piece by George Hubener in the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Excellent condition. Diameter 10".
