One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1880, with flared base and tall collar, the front decorated with swags and a hanging flower, the sides decorated with additional swags, and the spout decorated with dashes. Restored spout. Thin crack on underside, extending up front of pitcher, where it is restored. Additional restoration to left side of front of pitcher. 1 3/4" faint line from rim on reverse. Numerous shallow base chips.
