Eight-Gallon Stoneware Churn with Stenciled Cobalt Eagle Decoration, Stenciled "EAGLE POTTERY / JAMES HAMILTON & CO. / GREENSBORO / PA," circa 1875, cylindrical form with tall collar and applied lug handles, decorated with a large stenciled eagle holding a banner, which reads "EAGLE POTTERY". James Hamilton & Co. maker's stenciling below surrounded by various stenciled flourishes. Broken into pieces and reglued. Some filler along crack lines.
