Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Beaver, PA origin, circa 1870, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with a brushed "2" underscored by three stripes. As-made condition with some bubbling to left side of second cobalt stripe.
