Two Vermont Stoneware Jugs, circa 1875, a two-gallon jug with cobalt foliate design, stamped "E. & L.P. NORTON / BENNINGTON, VT."; paired with a two-gallon jug with cobalt foliate design, stamped "A.K. BALLARD / BURLINGTON, VT". Norton jug with in-the-firing contact marks, some fry to cobalt, and some restoration to spout. Ballard jug with some minor wear to cobalt, in-the-firing spout chips, and some discoloration.
