Small-Sized Stoneware Jar with Slip-Trailed Cobalt Daisy Decoration, attributed to the Morgan / van Wickle Pottery, Old Bridge, NJ, circa 1820, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and rounded rim, decorated with three slip-trailed cobalt daisy heads separated by a wavy line. Desirable small size. In-the-firing separation on underside with hairline extending from it. Three faint vertical hairlines at base. H 7".
