Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Chicken Pecking Corn Decoration, NY State origin, circa 1875, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a large cobalt design of a chicken pecking kernels of corn from a stylized ground. Essentially as-made condition with a stone ping at base. Flecks of white paint on surface. H 10 1/4".
