Three-Gallon Stoneware Cream Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "N. WHITE & CO. BINGHAMTON," New York State origin, circa 1866-1868, ovoid jar with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a large slip-trailed cobalt poppy flower design. Provenance: Lynn White Collection, Readfield, ME. 2 1/4" chip on interior of rim. Thin spidering lines on right side and reverse. Numerous spidering hairlines on underside. Wear to end of one handle. H 10 3/8".
