Ovoid Stoneware Jug with Incised Foliate Decoration, Stamped "I. SEYMOUR &. CO / TROY," New York State origin, circa 1823-1828, two-gallon ovoid jug with rounded spout and applied handle, decorated with an incised design of scalloped leaves highlighted in bright cobalt slip. As-made condition with a small stone ping on front. H 13 3/4".
