One-Gallon Manganese-Decorated Stoneware Crock, Stamped "S. BELL & SON / STRASBURG," circa 1890, cylindrical crock with squared rim, decorated with a series of brushed manganese swags around the shoulder. Top half of maker's mark not visible. A few small base chips. In-the-firing residue adhered to underside. 2 1/2" horizontal line on side, not visible on interior. Small rim chips, two with small lines extending through them. H 10".
