Bristol Slip Glazed Stoneware Advertising Mug, attributed to the Whites Pottery, Utica, NY, late 19th century, molded and cobalt-highlighted mug with decoration of two mermen flanking the advertising "COMPLIMENTS / OF / HARRY P. CROUSE / UTICA, N.Y." Includes original pewter lid. Minor wear to raised designs. Very faint line on interior base, which does not go through to exterior, and may have occurred during the firing. H (including lid) 6 1/4".
