Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "A.O. WHITTEMORE / HAVANA. N.Y," circa 1870, semi-ovoid jug with rounded shoulder and spout, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt daisy design with dotted petals. Poorly restored handle. Approximately 1 3/4" restored spout chip. Base chips. Glazed-over stone ping near base. 3 1/2" faint Y-shaped line on underside. H 13 3/4".
