Bennington Flint Enamel Washbowl, Stamped "Lyman Fenton & Co. / Fenton's / ENAMEL / PATENTED / 1849 / Bennington, Vt.," molded bowl with rounded foot decorated with brown streaks and blue flecks over a cream-colored ground. Impressed with Lyman Fenton & Co. maker's mark on underside. Rim chip. Crack from rim extending onto underside. Surface scratches to interior. H 4 1/2" ; Diameter 13 1/2".
