Unusual Large-Sized Salt-Glazed Stoneware Flowerpot, attributed to the Gardiner Stone Ware Manufactory, Gardiner, ME, circa 1880, tapered pot with rounded rim and attached saucer, decorated with four impressed eagles holding flags around the midsection. 4 1/4" line extending from base of saucer to base area of pot. 2 3/4" x 2" X-shaped line on exterior, not visible on interior. A few small chips to interior rim of pot. Rim chips to saucer. Base chips. Chipping to original drain holes at base. H 12 3/4".
