Stoneware Cake Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD, circa 1850, with squared rim, tooled shoulder, and applied tab handles, decorated on both sides with a brushed cobalt swag and hanging flower design. Swag designs under each handle. 1 3/4" flake off underside at edge. Base chip. Faint 8 1/2" line on underside, not visible on interior. H 5" ; Diameter 10".
